From the beginning Za:misel was known as a student-friendly bookstore, because it offers literature that students need for their studies and is at the same time the only place where they can find it.

In September 2005 we have restored the ZA:MISEL online bookstore, where you can browse through book titles and contents and even order books to be delivered to your home! You can find it at: http://zamisel.kibla.org.

BOOKSTORE EVENTS
Besides literary programs, we organize literary events, interviews with national and foreign authors, round tables, debates and entertainment evenings. Among our guests have been: Tomaž Šalamun, Aleš Šteger, Andrej E. Skubic, Alojz Ihan, Marko Samec, Ana Kučan, Milan Franc Hanžič, Dušan Čater, Lucija Stupica, Aleš Čar, Mia Couto, Balasubramanyan, Andrzej Stasiuk...

ORDERING BOOKS FROM ABROAD
The bookstore offers the possibility of ordering books, CDs and DVDs from abroad with the help of online portals www.amazon.com, www.amazon.de or www.amazon.co.uk. We accept orders at the following e-mail address: mirjanap@kibla.org .

HISTORY
Za:misel opened its doors in November 1998. With its foundation, Maribor acquired a professional, specialized, student sociological and humanistic bookstore, which, concentrated in one place and under a professional supervision, offers the complete Slovene sociological and humanistic literary production.
