Simona Kopinšek: The Invisible Gates to the South Side of the Sky / Fairy Tales for Small and Big Children

A journey through The invisible gates to the south side of the sky. We were hanging out with fairy tales by Simona Kopinšek, meeting Zoja, a little girl no bigger than the size of your finger, travelling through stories.

Simona Kopinšek is into words, and voice, and the many forms allowed by the spaces between them. Her metaphysical poetry is collected in the work 'Antahkaran in drugi obrazi Lepote' ('Antahkaran and other facets of Beauty'). She is mostly working in the local environment of Maribor, co-creating performative poetic forms and hosting discussions with other authors. In the past years she has collaborated with the national television, first as a presenter for the Radio SI station, a regular external collaborator of the culture department especially for the local studio, and as a correspondent for the Slovenian national television, but renounced the collaboration because of a yearning for a freer creative path. She is also a children's author, with her second book 'The Invisible Gates to the South Side of the Sky' published just recently.
