December literary event with Marko Zorko

On Thursday 13th December at 7 pm Kibla witnessed a live performance of

THE BOOK OF THE DEAD (KNJIGA MRTVIH)
by Marko Zorko.

In a conversation with Dejan Pušenjak, Marko Zorko of Maribor origin and childhood disclosed more about the book, claiming for itself not to be a cookbook, but love personified. This is a bit unusual considering the fact that its pages reveal dozens of traditional and experimental recipes. Some of them are of distinguished origin, coming from the kitchens of famous Slovenians. The books is given character by the wisdom of the author's ripe old age, the humour of his language and the beauty of the design, skillfully made by Biba Šehović.
