Music cycle TOMORROW: Ana Čop and Jaka Arh Music cycle TOMORROW: Ana Čop and Jaka Arh Friday, 17 December 2021, 8 p.m. MMC KIBLA
On Friday, 17 December 2021, at 8 p.m. at the MMC KIBLA, we kindly invite you to attend the musical performance TDNO - Time Demands New Orientations, a new project by Ana Čop and Jaka Arh. The project is their response to the current rise of destructive patterns in society and the general careless attitude towards culture. Through the extended use of vocals, electronics, free improvisation and spoken word, the authors directly encourage critical thinking, draw attention to the importance of cultural identity and, above all, acceptance of difference.
Ana Čop – vocals, effects Jaka Arh – electronics, saxophone
Ana Čop began her musical career as a classical pianist. After graduating from high school she studied musicology at the University of Ljubljana and at the same time enrolled at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana, where she began with her first formal jazz education with professor Nada Žgur.
