Art Day at the May Salon ZDSLU 2022

On Saturday, 18 June 2022, we invite you to the Art Day, which will take place at KIBLA PORTAL in the framework of the exhibition May Salon ZDSLU 2022.

As an introduction to the Art Day at KIBLA PORTAL, breakfast with the painter Bogdan Čobal will take place at 11 a.m. at MMC KIBLA (Ulica kneza Koclja 9, Maribor) as a closing event of his exhibition Pools of Cores 1992–2022. The artist will give a lecture on his work and creativity.

In the afternoon, between 4 and 8 p.m., we invite you to join us at KIBLA PORTAL (Valvasorjeva 40, 2nd floor, Maribor). Painter Slađana Matić Trstenjak, sculptor, graphic artist and painter Marijan Mirt, and photographer Maja Šivec will be creating artworks live in front of the audience. At the end of the event, we will organize a raffle draw and award the created artworks to the visitors.

As part of the Saturday event, we are also organizing a talk with the painter Vojko Pogačar, moderated by the co-curator of this year's May Salon ZDSLU, Peter Tomaž Dobrila, and a lecture by the painter Bogdan Čobal.
