The Croatian Society of Fine Artists, between 5 and 18 September, is launching the sixth project under the EU Erasmus+ program frame entitled Artists for Art Education 6. By connecting HDLU with educational institutions, they want to encourage high school students to take advantage of their education and profession and acquire specific skills beyond formal education.

This project allows two weeks of mobility for eighteen students and two teachers from two Croatian schools for applied arts. It is carried out as practical training under the mentorship of professional artists in Slovenia (Maribor) and Austria (Graz).
In Maribor, participants will be trained between 5 and 18 September 2021. At the end of education, they will present their work on the industrial heritage theme at the exhibition at KIBLA PORTAL, on Friday, 17 September 2021, at 6 p.m.
Eighteen high school students from the Secondary School of Fine Arts Pula and the Secondary School of Applied Arts and Design Reka will take part in the education, who will create under the mentorship of five Slovenian artists: Aleksandra Farazin, artist and professor of fine arts, Metka Kavčič, academic sculptor, Polona Poklukar, artist, Borut Popenko, artist and Gregor Salobir, photographer.

Artists for art education is a project of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists (HDLU) as part of the Erasmus+ project.
Project partners: KID KIBLA (Slovenia), NEXT – verein fuer zeitgenoessische kunst (Austria), VSI ARTKOMAS (Lithuania) and Kunstakademie Bad Reichenhall (Germany).
The project involves high school students of applied arts and design from Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek and Pula: School of Applied Arts and Design Zagreb, School of Fine Arts in Split, School of Applied Arts in Rijeka, School of Applied Arts and Design Osijek and School of Applied Arts of Art and Design Pula.
The project is funded under the Erasmus+ program, the European Union's most extensive education, training, youth, and sports program, covering the period 2014 - 2020.
