Visual arts Forma Viva "Harmonic interventions into the urban green", exhibitionTuesday 1st July 2008 at 8.30 pm, Kibela - the opening of the exhibition "Harmonic interventions into the urban green" within the Visual arts Forma Viva. Being part of the Park of Adventures, the Visual arts Forma Viva took place from 29/06 to 01/07 below the branches of Maribor City park. It has been organized by Kibla in cooperation with the Lent Festival organizers.
The topic of this year's Forma Viva was "HARMONIC INTERVENTIONS INTO THE URBAN GREEN".
The purpose of Visual Arts Forma Viva is to encourage self-incentive among young people, to combine and share the diverse knowledge of participants and present a variety of experience among the chosen topic. People have begun to grow insensitive of natural elements in the urban environment, caught in the repetitive pattern of the arranged environment, whereas artists can use little creative interventions to make the environment more beautiful and thus more likable and familiar.
The selection of best works was made on 01/07 at 4 pm by the expert jury, composed by professors of Faculty of Education Maribor - Department of Art Education:
prof OTO RIMELE, spec. prof SAMUEL GRAJFONER, spec. assistant prof JIRI KOČICA, spec.
The jury selected and awarded three out of all participants. The main criterion for the selection was creativity and consideration of the topic.
