Matjaž Krivic: Earth Temples - exhibition in The Maribor park

On Tuesday, the 5th of September at 6 pm, you were kindly invited to the photographic exhibition Earth Temples that we organized along the Maribor park promenade. On the opening evening Krivic's multivisions Kaliyuga, World of silence and Tribe were be projected.
The exhibition was opened until the 30th of September!

The project Earth Temples, which features over fifty large format panoramic photographs (250 by 125 cm) by the internationally renowned Slovenian photographer Matjaž Krivic, is dedicated to the features common to all the cultures of the world. The photographs tell stories about the marvels and immeasurable beauty of the world. The photographs will be exhibited along with the texts by the Slovenian geomantic writer Ana Pogačnik.
For the coming application for the European Cultural Capital 2012 this exhibition can be a model for open air exhibitions. The photographs have already been exhibited in the Ljubljana Tivoli park.

Krivic is best known for his panoramic photographs and photographs of the parts of the world which are poor in material wealth but rich in tradition and the mysteries of their religions. He is a two-time winner of the prestigious Royal Geographic Society Award (2002 in 2003).
