To take photos of concerts? Why? Once you are poisoned with photography, it's over. It becomes a way of life. To follow and document music is a priority. It is persistence. It means going to concerts, collecting materials and by that adding to musical creation. It means helping at promotion and many times it is non-paying work. Music photographers are bound by the love for music. The work includes questions such as how to reach musicians, will there be enough light, will there be enough time to catch “the” moment, which expresses the greatness of a musician we are portraying. Further on, the public should not be disturbed and when the concert begins, we forget about everything and it is all about the music, which is the best that can happen. At the same time it seduces us to think about the world we live in, close or distant. There is as much music in the world as there are people who live in it. To take pictures of music equals looking for surprises. It is patience and expectation that mustn't be expectation but mergence in never foreknown scenario. It is waiting, nothing else than waiting for the clouds. Photo gallery
