Laibach: INSTRUMENTALITY OF THE STATE MACHINE

The opening of the exhibition
Laibach: Instrumentality of the state machine exhibition,
took place on Friday, the 10th of February 2006, at 7pm.

“A human is a machine part, a musician a function of his/hers instrument, music a by- product of generization of totalitarian industrial society.”

The exhibition is a part of Oscilacije cycle - 30 days of sound, prepared in Mala galerija by Moderna galerija Ljubljana. The cycle of sound events unites an eclectic group of artists from various backgrounds, historic moments and manners of working with sound. Their experimental forms and concepts transcend the borders of what is known as (audio) art and are at the same time opening into various social spaces.

Three group members attended the opening: Jani Novak, Dejan Knez and Milan Fras.

After the exhibition DJ Rocca and VJ Vesna prepared a musical and visual scenery for the afterparty.
