At the very beginning of the New Year Kibla is looking forward to new projects and challenges as well as new occasions to socialize with you. Therefore we invited you to join us in MMC Kibla on Wednesday 14th January at 11 am for the first Kibla breakfast with journalists this year. We presented activities and projects planned for 2009 and thank you for your cooperation so far.

You were informed in detail about the coming artistic projects of KiBela Gallery space for art, which will just now, on 16th January 2009, celebrate the 10th anniversary of its activity. We also presented our activities within the literary programme - Tox publishing and Za:misel bookshop, programmes of informal education in the field of new media, the planned music programme, activities related to European projects in which we participate this year as partners or coordinators, and five festivals of Kibla to enhance the cultural activity in Maribor and Slovenia in 2009.

You were addressed by ACE Kibla president Aleksandra Kostič, ACE Kibla vice president Dejan Pestotnik and curator Maja Vuksanović. The discussion was moderated by Nika Logar.
