Cultural difusion: Mission (Im)possible? - a youth exhange

Association for Culture and Education Kibla is organizing a youth exhange titled Cultural Diffusion: Mission:(Im)possible? that will take place between 12th and 22nd July 2009.

46 young people from seven European countries, all interested in creativity and taking an active part in events in the fields of art and culture, participated in the exchange. Participants had an opportunity to learn about cultural diffusion which is ideal of globalization and get systematically acquainted with the cultures of the participating countries through culinary art, dance, literature, music and film, and later on an opportunity to try to create/invent the diffusion of all seven cultures through dance, music, visual design and photography, theatre and multimedia workshops. The exchange also included active discussions on human responsibility and human rights, global problems and education in relation to good intercultural dialogue and communication in general, assertiveness, world peace, healthy lifestyle through sports and the control of stress.
