Betting on Shorts 2009 - screening of short films Saturday 14 November at 8 pm, MMC Kibla - the screening of short films – Betting on Shorts.
The screening concluded the competition for the best short film organised by Irini Marinaki, Konstantinos Stefanis, Sarah Sparkes and Ricarda Vidal and hosted by ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) from London. 12 selected films were screened and the winner was chosen from among them. Maribor voted for the greek film The House (Το Σπίτι). The final winner of this year's contest Betting on Shorts is Memotech (Memotekid).
Simultaneous screenings were held in Athens, Barcelona, Bucharest, London, Maribor (MMC Kibla), Naples, Novi Sad, Poznan, Stockholm, Thessaloniki and Wiesbaden.
