Culture programme presentation seminar

MMC Kibla and Culture Contact Point Slovenia - the Culture programme presentation seminar, Tuesday 01/07/2008 between 11 am and 1 pm in Kibla Multimedia Centre, Ulica kneza Koclja 9, Maribor. The seminar presented calls for submission for the year 2009 and a new Culture Programme Guide.

The presentation was aimed at general interested public, media and representatives of organisations that intend to participate at one of Culture programme calls in 2009 either as applicants or partner organisations.

Mateja Lazar, a representative of Culture Contact Point Slovenia, the national information office for EU Culture programme, presented the Culture programme: its aims, opportunities for financing projects within calls in 2009 and any changes related to calls that are elaborated in the Culture Programme Guide. The guide that was published in mid June shall be valid for the remaining period of Programme implementation, which is by the end of 2013. An important advantage provided by the guide is the fact that all calls and deadlines for project applications will be known for the total period, with equal conditions applying to project submission and implementation. Future calls also bring a shorter application form and simplified financing conditions.

Participation at the seminar was free.
The event has been organised in cooperation with Kibla Association for Culture and Education, Enterprise Europe Network, University of Primorska, Science and Research Centre of Koper, as well as Government Communication Office and Europe Centre Ljubljana.
