Each year on the last weekend in January, artists, designers, programmers, creatives, in short, amateurs and professionals of all kinds, can join the global community in over 800 locations across the world.

The 5th Maribor Global Game Jam in Slovenia is part of a 48-hour collaborative event joining creatives from various fields in the making of new, innovative, radical, experimental games on a specific topic to be revealed at the beginning of the event, on Friday at 6 p. m.

The Jam is not a competitive event, there are no judges, so your ideas can truly reach far beyond the settled trajectories - that is, if you can convince the others to join your team and develop the game all the way.

Duration: from Friday, 26 January, 6 p. m., until Sunday, 28 January, 5 p. m.

A public presentation of the finalized games will take place on Sunday at 4 p. m., as well as later during Games Slovenia gatherings.

The event is organized by Games Slovenia and ACE KIBLA from Maribor.
