Web tutorials feature lectures and discussions on web and web services.

Topics:
* Gašper Kozak considers himself to have been a developer for more than 15 years. He is employed by the company Tobonet (http://www.tobonet.com/), where he develops advertising software, whereas in his spare time he works on the safety of web applications and develops two open-code projects, which will be presented this time.

WideImage (http://wideimage.sourceforge.net/) is one of many object PHP libraries for image processing. Simplicity and performance have been considered strongly in its development. The author also writes unit tests and applies continuous integration to ensure quality control and code accuracy.

LayerCache (http://code.google.com/p/layercache/) is ahigh-performance PHP framework for multilayered data caching. Programmers are enabled simple integration of several layers of caches, where data from individual layers are filled automatically or refreshed from the source (e.g. the database), if required.

libcloud is an open-code library written in the Python software. It enables the users to communicate with various providers of cloud services (Amazon, Rackspace, linode, etc.) by using the standard interface.
