Tomaž Grom and Tao G. Vrhovec Sambolec: TILT On Friday the 13th of April 2007 at 9pm you are kindly invited to MMC Kibla to attend the evening of sonic experiments and improvisations TILT, created by Tomaž Grom, this year’s winner of Golden bird award, and Tao G. Vrhovec Sambolec.
Tomaž Grom –double bass Tao G. Vrhovec Sambolec – live electronics (Max/Msp)
TILT is based on sound experiments and is dealing with improvisations and structural approach to music at the same time. It focuses on creating various sound and music textures with the help of live digital sound processing. On one hand this procedure changes and widens expressive span of the instrument, on the other it puts the instrument in another acoustic context which demands a new way of playing it.
TILT published two CDs so far, DVOJNIK (1999) and TILT (2006).
