Cougar - the concert

Kibla and Narodni dom present you the best of jazz and rock music, this time with a special emphasis on the electrical guitar and explosive performances.

We begun the first jazz package in 2006 with the newest American post-rock missile Cougar.

The same as with all really good groups it is impossible to say what kind of music Cougar play - an effective, nostalgic, attractive rock à la Tortoise, Nick Drake, Fugazi, Radiohead and everything that lies inbetween. They call their music "emergency rock" and literary mean it - with the help of a very convincing sound a little outside of the conventional norms they are a salvation culture for all almost forgotten natural sounds of rock history and its contemporary disguises.

In the year 2003 in the cold basement of Madison in Wisconsin rapper and percussionist of the famously loud Youngblood Brass Band, D.H. Skogen brought together active participants of various progressive scenes and elevated them to the coming attractions of post-rock music from the USA with the help of Layered record label. "Law" album producer is the legendary John McEntire (Tortoise, The Sea and Cake). Jazz package presents them -in an admission free concert-on their first European tour!
