X-OP: Free Fall, exhibition and symposium in Istanbul

Between 25th and 27th March 2010 the Free Fall symposium within the european project X-OP- eXchange of art operators and producers took place in Istanbul. The symposium was organized by Apartment Project from Istanbul and was accompanied by artistic events. Dejan Pestotnik and Maja Vuksanović paticipated at the symposium.

The Apartment Project’s aim had been to collectively create and produce different voices in exhibitions based on workshops. Project Free Fall, in this point, is an attempt to create language/practice by way of changing the structure and working out of workshops. To this end, Apartment Project formed the platform which will work as a virtual workshop place for the artists where they can share their productions without the necessity of coming together in the same physical working/production place.
