Opportunities for active participation of young people

Between 10.- 12. 10. 2012 ACE KIBLA participated in the project Opportunities for the active participation of young people (Youth in Action) workshop in Sofia, Bulgarija.
The workshops topic was youth employment. Participants presented the problem of youth unemployment and job opportunities in their respective countries. They found that states have similar problems, but each country has specific problems related to the cultural environment. Working in groups, with the support of mentors, the participants were seeking solutions to these problems, they learned where to look for information on job vacancies and how to compose a good CV and how to conduct a job interview.
The main objective of the project options for the active participation of young people is to encourage young people's participation in building a more integrated, democratic world in focused and united Europe, tackling youth unemployment as "opportunities" for the development of active citizenship and a sense of "ownership" of the EU, while increasing tolerance solidarity and mutual understanding. The project includes a range of activities, which gives young people the opportunity to participate - both at local and European level - and the opportunity to work together toward a common goal.
