DIGITAL on STAGE
The DIGITAL on STAGE project works in the performing arts sector across Europe, promoting the production and promotion of digital performing arts using various technological tools. Digital performing arts deals with an innovative approach in which the artist uses various digital tools such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), 3D, etc., to provide the audience with an artistic experience in real time and in many areas of the performing arts. A notable example is immersive theatre, which goes beyond the passive relationship between performers and audience - it creates a fully live experience. The project activities will raise awareness and train representatives of the performing arts sector, seek to transform the sector and practically support/finance digital productions. In this way, the project aims to help spread digital performing arts, including audiences and innovative ways of engagement with performances. In addition to Intercult, the lead partner, 5 other project partners are involved in the project.
