You wre cordially invited to attend the press conference that took place on Wednesday, the 4th of April 2007 at 11am in MMC Kibla. We introduced the content of Maribor candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2012 with partner towns, the wholesome image.

We answered your most common questions such as:
1. Why Eastern cohesive region of Slovenia?
2. Why the regional concept?
3. How will cultural fields be divided according to partner towns?
4. Which investments will be included in the project?
5. Which projects and programs are signature marks of Maribor candidacy?
Etc.

Invited were all that have been actively participating in the candidacy content structuring, the mayors, the representatives of the municipalities, the experts and all those who didn’t have the opportunity to participate or get acquainted with the main idea of this project.

Cultural initiators and creators, artists, pedagogues, scientists, businesswomen and businessmen, economists, sportswomen and sportsmen, students, pensioners, children and all who are interested in this project were cordially invited!

The introduction was followed by an afternoon social gathering with the exchange of ideas, comments and suggestions.
